Hi everyone, here's a small tutorial to make a greyscale heightmap from real terrain with google for MxSimulator (or other thing).

it still works. I also used inspect element to remove all the google maps icons to just get the raw texture

You should really post a solution to this error: Function MID parameter 3 value is negative. It should be positive or zero.
i get an error pasting link

Thankyou for this heads up. Problem is, I click on render and the final render of the height map is missing various blocks of information. Seems a bit janky for me.

It shows white for me only if i zoom out it starts to appear.

any idea why when i open the tangram link it is coming up white ? it has no gray scale to it

There isn't a "Map" mode. Maybe you meant "Terrain" mode.

I don't think this works anymore. When I copy the link in google maps and then click the hyper link it shows me a repeating grey scale of the entire world :(

There´s a google maps link in the search bar, which can´t be deleted.

If you zoom in more then #14, it blur´s out white.
