You got the lynch pin on this one! This holds water for both women and men. So how do we bring this about? Volumes have been written on this subject. Here's what I think: I've had more than one bad relationship. The one thing they all had in common was that the stress outweighed the positives. So for me, laughter and fun is the key. If there are more frowns than smiles, I'm not sticking around. In order to accomplish this, you have to do your inner work to lighten your spirit and accept yourself with all your human foibles. I mean be able to laugh at yourself. Any relationship based on power and control dynamics will not work.

Maybe this is far out there but, it’s almost like being his very favorite elementary school teacher. Not that you’re teaching him his ABCs but I believe it’s the kindness, individual attention, nurturing and caring for him that he’s always happy to go back to school for more of those sincere feelings from his teacher. It’s not always going to be about us and his making us feel loved. He’s out in the world being a “man” and then he gets to come to you for those fuzzy feelings of security and attention. He wants to do better for you because he feels good when he’s with you, giving back those special feelings we’re looking for. Does that make sense? It does for me.

And what are you guys bringing? What? Except chaos, betrayal and heartbreak often? Men on the dating market right now are simple trash...You expect from us women more and more and more, and all majority of men do is take and depleat us of our energy and love and then leave. I only had 1-2 relationship tries in this decade agter separating from husband 1 year ago, but I am done. 7-8 month relationship and I found out he was sleeping in parallel with another woman..while making me feel unworthy..😢😢
