1. Do hamstrings first
2. Try and use full range of motion on some type of squating movement
3. JUST. TRAIN. THEM. HARD!

RIP John Meadows, we will always come back to your videos and continue to learn from your advice and knowledge. Prayers to the family still, hope you all are holding up. 🙏🏽

1. Begin with Leg Curls Warmup(either for Hamstring/Quad)
2. After having a pump, go to a squat or leg press machine. Start with Low weight and gradually increase when 7th rep becomes too easy.
3. Apply the above into a circuit exercise.
4. Repeat.

As an older bloke still training, I like direct, no-nonsense videos from people who have been around the block a bit and know their stuff. JM ticks all the boxes for me. No frills, no BS, just experience and hard graft. What’s not to like? Kind regards from the UK.

I always started with squats to be "fresh". Man I did some leg curls before anything else today and the squats really felt so good. John is still making a difference from wherever he is.

I came here for 3 reasons:
1. Wisdom
2."Hi everybody!"
3. The legendary beard, that he better not shave off!!!

“After decades of doing this”
That’s better proof of knowledge than most studies anyway. Great tips as always.

6:20 Still remember the first leg workout couple year ago where I couldn't sit on the toilet without pain. And then a year later I've got massive freaking legs. Thanks John

I'd recommend everyone to try doing hamstrings before squats. It was a total game changer for me.

The best part about John is not only is he extremely knowledgeable and one of my favourite you tubers.

The best part of his videos is he gets straight to the point. No of this self promotion BS. His videos are an intro of himself, and straight to point #1.

Love ya John; I’ve been training for about 10 years, developed a solid physique and your tips add the cherry on top to pushing myself and trying things I haven’t done before. Much love from Canada.
