I watched another doctor, I don’t remember who, but he said brush, floss, then rinse with mouthwash. That also makes sense.
I believe the reason why flossing before brushing is better is because you want the toothpaste and fluoride in it to inter between your teeth so that it can get cleaned but also repair and protect it.

I floss first, then brush, then mouthwash.

It makes sense to floss first so the benefits of the toothpaste can get into the newly opened spaces that are provided after flossing.

just do both. get in the zone and obsess over it. go back and forth. it also depends how often you floss. if you floss all the time, maybe brush first. if you floss not enough, then floss first. in the end though, you SHOULD floss every day.

But sometimes when I floss first it works the food chunks deeper into my gums 😭

Some hygienists say to brush first than floss sp the flouride can go between your teeth and help prevent cavities

EITHER WAY WORKS, as long as you ARE flossing
