Lupus can have devastating impact on organs

Millions of people worldwide are diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that can have a devastating impact on the organs. Of some 5 million people worldwide and some 1.5 million Americans who have lupus, 90% are women. We call ourselves "lupus warriors," and I had the pleasure of meeting two women who couldn't embody that spirit more perfectly.
