Inspiring talks from all the speakers. I am amazed by how much treatment the chemical professor who has lupus for 36 years went through. This is a tough disease to fight. But I feel better that these role models are doing a great job combating them.

I was diagnosed 3 years ago at age 54. Thank you for all the useful information. I feel fortunate to only be taking plaqunil and imuran as main treatment. I couldn't tolerate cellcept. I take Nystatin to prevent mouth ulcers. Lorsartan for blood pressure which I never had prior to diagnosis. My kidney functions are normal after 6 aggressive cytoxin treatment within 6 months of diagnosis. I feel very blessed but like many on the panel have said when things happen it is not clear ifs it's the lupus or medication side effects. God bless you all for sharing. I will pray for you all and pray that in the very near future we will have better treatment available. I wish where I live there was a lupus group. Lupus scares me because it can attack any organ.
