good point sanya make sure not to push or force when you practice and it's good to warm up before class with these wrist exercises so they are ready to hold your weight up when you practice. also make sure to spread your fingers wide when you practice to distribute weight evenly and protect the wrists! thanks for your great question! it's a good topic!

Hello! Great question. If yoga is stressing your wrists it's important to back off, go slow and stay with your breath. put your knees down for plank pose and for side plank. make sure to do the wrist warm ups too before yoga. wrist pain from doing yoga happens when you're pushing and stressing the body, go slow, and stay easy and you'll hopefully feel better fast! thanks!

I've been suffering from wrist pain for years due to multiple cheerleading injuries and once I started doing this routine 3 times a week my wrist pain is almost completely gone! I notice when I stop for a few weeks the pain returns. I will always do these wrist exercises. Thank you so much Tara!

Thanks so much for these pearls! I had (unfortunately) right thumb reconstruction 2 1/2 years ago and am just now able to do poses using my right hand! I still experience a
lot of thumb and wrist pain so these are very much appreciated!

I was having quite a bit of discomfort in my right wrist until I tried this video.  Thank you so much, it made quite a difference!  I've been crocheting a lot along with normal house cleaning and jumping toddlers straining my wrists, I was quite surprised at how quickly and well this worked for me!

Hi Tara!  I think these exercises will be great for some of my friends at work in the lab.  Lab workers are often at risk for overuse injuries particularly in their wrists from lots of pipetting.  There are 5 full time workers in my lab and 2 of them have wrist problems.  I think I'll share this video with them :)

Hi tara thank u so much for video's they are super helflpful..I was wondering if u had any advice for me. I am a massage therapist along with being a PCA...I am constantly driving if not running errands..long story short I am over workn my self I believe ...I also have a rite knee issues. ..with flexion

Hi! I've started doing this as my right hand and wrist had been sore and slightly aching for a while. The pain increased a bit although I am trying to be really easy on these exercises. Is this normal or should I not use this approach if pain stays? Thank you!

I am not a doctor but if you are not flexible I dont think you should ever step on your wrists! I have a weird carpal thing going on and i cant move my right wrist that much without pain. But the first part of the video seems helpful but slightly painful too. great videos THANK YOU! Namaste
