The level of coordination that most ants have is honestly very frightening and interesting at the same time the only other insect that I know that has this level of coordination is robber flies

I feel complete revulsion towards any type of insect, ironically ants are the only type I can think of that doesn't give me the heebie-jeebies. Maybe because they are not hairy and that reduces the fear factor. And also them being ground-bound and silent is also big help in not being bothered by them. Plus ants always seem so focused on doing their own thing you get the feeling they are really "not all that into you", at least compared to other insects.
