How To Get Rid Of Aphids From Houseplants Fast And Easy (Organic)

Recently I found aphids on one of my favorite houseplants. These nasty pests were causing my plant to die at an alarming rate and I wanted to find a way to get rid of them fast. I tried rinsing and using neem oil, and finally brought in a team of 1500 ladybugs to finish the task! In this video I will show you aphids under a microscope, give you a background on the lifecycle of aphids and finally, show you how to get rid of Aphids fast an easy!

Isn't nature so wonderful Kate! I walked into the house last week n had a ladybug on me, I usually kill "bugs" on me but my wife begged me to release it. I listened and released it on my hibiscus and now I'm totally glad I did! Universe is amazing! I would love to see more on ur scientific showings. 😃

So sorry about your outbreak however I love how you handled the issue! What a great idea isolating the ladybugs in a tent with the plants, I will def try this if necessary, having 4 cats it's the perfect solution. I have that microscope also and check all my incoming plants with it as well as checking my plants pretty often, yes I'm a little paranoid lol. WOW!! I have to say that I was able to hold it together when you showed the close ups of the aphids. OMG! I don't want to see them though I believe I have them (I may be in a bit of denial though). I've decided to wash the plants every week to two weeks to help control them. I spray them down to kill what is there that I can't see; I spray the soil now too so if they are marinating in there, I hope the bug be gone gets them. I am going to start top dressing my soil with D-Earth but it is a bit messy. Anyway, I am so happy you were able to get what you needed done with the ladybugs.

I've been battling mealies, spidermites, and thrips all from a huge alocasia I brought in 😬😬😬 the thrips are starting to spread so I went to summerwinds to get the ladybugs and I'm releasing them in my house tonight! LOL thank you for sharing otherwise I wouldn't have thought to try ladybugs

I thought you was gonna say, the best way to get rid of them is by getting rid of the plants, which is why there aint plants on your desk. Lol
