And let's not neglect the massive elephant in the room - the billions of dollars of oil and natural gas reserves discovered off the coast of Gaza in 2019 verified by a UN report. Are we supposed to believe that the Western allies have no interest in exploiting that either through land grabs or a Gaza "peacekeeping protectorate"?
