Hope you enjoyed this video I was relieved to have fix my issue since I've been struggling with character modeling for a while and now I can continue, so I'm sharing it with you.

I transferred my character mesh's vertex group onto the hair mesh and applied an armature modifier and selected my character's armature. The hair mesh and hair curves generated by the addon were able to move with the head when posing the armature. I didn't draw hair with a bezier curve, I just generated hair using the hair mesh. I now want to go into sculpt mode to use the comb brush to further shape the hair but the comb brush doesn't work unless I apply the modifier first. The only problem is that after applying the modifier from the link you provided the hair no longer follows the character armature in pose mode even though the hair mesh still follows the character armature when posing. I didn't touch or apply the surface deform modifier. How do I get the hair to follow the character's armature again?

Great vid! But how do you actually rig the hair to make it animatable on it's own?

Hello, how would you do what you demonstrated here with a separate mesh, I mean the emitter in another duplicate mesh? Because my Shapekeys don't work. The Rig works when moving etc... however shapekeys only change the original mesh. Thanks.

Hi Dimen, great video! Could you help me with my problem? I'm using a scalp where I've created my empty hair to use curves like guides. When I move the scalp, the hair is following back the scalp, but when I sculpt or edit the mesh, the hair doesn't move. Do you have any idea what is happening here? Thanks!
