Mexico expected to elect first woman president in historic election

In Mexico, two women vying for the presidency lead the polls for the first time in the country’s 200-year history. Claudia Sheinbaum and Xóchitl Gálvez will face off at the polls on Sunday against a backdrop of political bloodshed that has gripped the country. NBC News’ Guad Venegas reports.

Yes, she has said that she will build upon what he accomplished, but she has her own project too. When she started her campaign, she outlined 100 proposals of how she will run the country, covering everything from security, to the environment, to women's issues, to inequality, to foreign investment, to
infrastructure and much more. Let's not forget that she is a doctor in physics, she has been involved in social struggles since her student years, she was the major of Mexico City and has an ideological commitment with the Fourth Transformation of the country. So no, her campaign does not rely on "I'm a woman and if you disagree with me, you're misogynistic." If anything, saying that she does and that she solely relies on that, while erasing all of her proposals,
