It would be a great idea for a video to have a before and after performance test to show the difference in performance!! It would also double as a great thumbnail too

I disable indexing on all my computers as well as client machines by just clicking on "My computer" to locate your primary C: drive. Then right click on the actual drive and choose properties. You will see the "drive indexing" dialog box check by default. Just uncheck that box and choose "ignore all" and the drive will no longer be indexed. That way i can not have my drive indexed but also retain the windows search feature.

Thank you. This video is going to get at least one more rewatch from me to track all these tips.

Changing the refresh rate for Windows is more important than it seems: If you run a game in 'borderless window' it will max the frame rate to the one specified in Windows. So if your game runs smoothly at full screen but sucks in borderless window, that's the reason.

Cheers bro! Been tweaking away but this video really helped with the more in-depth side of things instead, you do a great job letting us know the ins and outs 😁

Actually, the thing that mostly kills GPUs when overclocking, is the heat. If you can keep the GPU cooled pretty well or have a GPU with a massive cooling solution (like I have), you can run an overclock all day long 🙂.

My overclocked GPU usually runs most games at max 62 degree celcius or around 57-58 degree celcius on average. And that's pretty good temperature.

Two kinds of gamers; those who keep tweaking, or those that just sit down to play a game.

im alright with all those services being disabled except for sysmain, for some reason it makes my system a bit slower, i mean its just with start up and shut down, but i like my super fast start up, so im gonna keep that on.

I think you should test the gaming mode.

Wow Great Tips. Example I ran MDK 2. It normally runs at 60-100 FPS. After your tips 375 FPS LOLOL WOW

Really appreciate this video. I had no idea your monitor could be limited in its FPS. Just changing that one thing, my cursor moves so much more smoothly now and I have yet to even launch an actual game to test all these changes.

I do not have the Performance and Energy slider. Do you know how I get that to show?
