There are troubling signs that China is expanding its nuclear capabilities. A new missile base was discovered in the Xinjiang region. Some Chinese media say it is a wind farm. It is the second silo field uncovered this month in the Communist country. Author of "The Coming Collapse of China" and "The Great US-China Tech War," Gordon Chang, joins to tell us more about the reports that China appears to be expanding its nuclear program. As reported on Tuesday, in Hong Kong, the first person tried under the Beijing-backed National Security Law was found guilty of two counts and faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. Chang discusses Tong Yin-Kit and what this ruling means for the pro-democracy movement. In the US, a report says the Justice Department is dropping its investigation of 5 visiting researchers in the US who reportedly had ties to the Chinese military. Chang called this decision "a debacle" on social media. He explains why. On another note, in its Olympic coverage over the weekend, NBC showed a map of China that did not include Taiwan nor several islands in the South China Sea. The Chinese consulate complained to the network. The author shares why this is so important.
