You guys, buy the luck before you place the crab cages. I bought luck and opened 1400 cages and only got 6 sea mines. The luck only affects the cages when you place them not when you claim them. It won’t matter if your luck runs out as long as you’ve placed all your cages while the luck is active. I did it this way and got 16 sea mines with another 1400 cages, made about 40K in profit.

I have a suggestion for it, you can set your spawn there and buy the conch which mean you dont have to rush to the desolate since you can just teleport there and can actually harvest it more times

fyi to anyone who wants to try this, its not really much of a money making strat than it is a casino!!! (woooo!!) Its purely rng whether or not you spend 100k and 30-50 mins of setup just to end up either losing money or gaining money (and of course you're more likely to lose money like you would in a casino)

Its like destiny rod colossal squid/isonade farming except you end up losing both your time AND money, plus destiny rod farming already sucks so you can just put the pieces together.

If you want more time from the Merlin buff just set your spawn in the depths and use a conception conch

guys set spawn in the desolate deep insted of sunstone because u can use the mirror to tp up so buy a shell and go thru the magic mirror and then buy luck boost and shell tp back

I've been using fungal rod's spores as a safer alternative financially. I get one mine every few hundred (200 - 900), and if I don't get a mine, I usually get about 80% of the spent money returned from the fish caught. Does my rod's luck affect the chances at all? I want to be getting as many as 1 - 2 per ~750 cages.

I have a idea just use fungal rod for a luck boost instead of buying from merlin much easier and dosent take time at all.
