I legit remember, my family and I had gone to a 5 star restaurant., ., I ordered a dessert and .. um... THE PLATE MIGHT HAVE A DIAMETER OF 8 INCHES AND THE CHOCOLATE CAKE WAS LIKE 2 INCHES ! ChOcOlaTe cake needs justice 🥸✊

I remembered the first and last time my hubby gave me a fine dining place for 6 courses....the portions are really small but yes i manage to eat and taste all of them.
Then after we exited i thank him for the nice place and told him that I'm still hungry...thus we went to a mcdonald's and had our fave meal ;)

I was on a cruise ship to Alaska and ate at the "fancy" restaurant once - and had to wear my tux to do so. I was hungry and the first course came and was smaller than my thumb - 1 bite... I waited and waited then finally the second came - same thing. Eventually the main course came - Tuna - it was sliced so thin I could see through it and see the plate underneath and it was about four inches in diameter. I used my fork and literally plowed through it like a farmer in a field. That was it. In anger I got up and walked out. After an hour I had eaten almost NOTHING!!! I will never ever ever ever ever eat at a "fancy" restaurant again.

At One time I was invited to a nice beautiful restaurant. They served us a tiny, tiny (1) piece of chicken with about 5 pieces of green beans and 3 pieces if carrots. For desert it was a see thru piece of cake. That was $120. I thank the guy and appreciate it, but I was so angry (at the price) and hungry when I left there, that I went to get "decent" food. I went to a buffet and got an all you can eat for $7. 😁😁😁
