First Guitar Lesson - Learning your first 4 chords (Matt McCoy)

If you are new to the guitar i highly recommend you learn these 4 chords (G, C, Em, and D) in this position to start. I have taught many children and adults over the years and by learning the chords this way you are able to progress much fast in your playing.
