I wanted a Series X when the new consoles were announced, but it sold out and i went for the Series S instead. i was disappointed at the time, but after using the S for a year now i am really impressed with the little beast. Gaming for such a low price is a huge win in my book.

I’ll tell you what, I’m by no means a hardcore gamer but when I switched over from the base xbox one to the series s I was blown away on how quiet and fast it was!

I would spend 1-2 minutes in the loading screens playing dead island 2 with my friends online but now it loads so fast and the graphics are beautiful. Why spend almost 4-500 on a series x when the s is just gorgeous in every way.

I've had no issues with my Xbox series s ... I think the draw distance is not that good but for the price is way better than what the latest console cost

I love my Series S but the only thing I’m concerned about is that when I first got it, it sounded like a small piece of plastic or tiny screw was rolling around the casing inside. It doesn’t make that sound anymore and the console runs beautifully, but it has me worried.

I had the ps4 slim sitting in the closet until I found out about warzone in like the second year. My brother in law gave me a Samsung 4K 60 hz monitor which I hooked up the ps4 to. When the new systems came out I decided to get the Series s and it was an amazing improvement. Just like your story I upgraded monitor, bought a PS5 and even built my own PC because of it. The Series S definitely has had an impact in me returning to video games.

I bought one yesterday for £120 and I couldn't be any happier. I have a "gaming" pc that is waaaay behind it, in terms of performance. A Ryzen 5 1600 and GTX 1660Ti with 16gb ram. Its going to gather dust from now on.
