There are little rubber bits on right side so you can set it on its side and not damage the plastic there is no reason for you to have the “skates” or whatever

The skates probably are a good idea if youre gonna display the console horizontally. Only because it seems like theres almost no clearance between the surface and console in horizontal mode on the factory horizontal feet so it builds up somewhat more heat than the console being vertical where it has a stand to bring it higher up so it can pull in air from the bottom and all the actual components that get warm are further up in the case.

It's just a lot healthier for the internals to have it standing vertical because heat rises.
