I just harvested some cabbage outside in snow👍🏾. I bought in lemon, peppers, and strawberries. I have a few grow tents so that assists me with continuing the life of the plants. You did a great job of sharing information for the viewers to have better success with over winterizing.

I am new to Florida, zone 10a, and just started a container garden in September. Most of my peppers have started producing (California Wonder, banana, jalapeno and cajun belle); some I'm still waiting on (poblano, pepperoncini). Can I just leave them in containers over the winter and see what happens? When, temperature-wise, is a good time to cut them back?

I've never done this intentionally but im going to give it a try this year with my jalafuego, jimmy nardellos, and fish peppers!

Can I over winter a bell pepper plant that branches about 10-12" from the soil? I grew it from seed & I guess it was leggy when it developed. It produced just fine. It was kinda tall.

I’m going to be over wintering green bell, purple bell, and I’m experimenting with jalapeños. I’m in zone 9 and I will be keeping them in a greenhouse. This is the first time doing this so I hope it works. I’m also trying it out on tomato plants. Wish me luck!

I am wondering about growing peppers all year long? I have a greenhouse where I can keep the daytime temp between 60-80 degrees. If they have a good growing environment, can they continue to grow and produce without a lapse?

I am overwintering 3 bell pepper plants in my northwest Indiana home this winter for the first time. I brought them in a couple hours before our first hard frost. So far they look fantastic!

I have a pepper plant already in a container. I live in Nova Scotia Canada, can I just prune the plant and bring the container inside or should Intransplant to a smaller container?
Thanks

Hi Kim I removed the leaves that closed off and replanted. Looks like baby leaves are coming in. Did I do right pruning. No peppers during the winter? In southern CA near inland area. 90 degrees this week, yikes
