Asking Sabrina to cover Hank is like getting the cool substitute teacher.

Hank, I don't know what you did, but you look really good in this video. Keep up the good work.

You are decidedly not Hank shaped, yet you dropped very Hank-Like wisdom. This makes me smile.

I am so glad that Sabrina is back. It's like full circle. I first found her when she covered for John on his paternity leave and now she's back covering for Hank!

Great video (and as a fellow college student, I feel)!

This is the most well-rested I've seen the father of a newborn. Nice work, Hank.

Sabrina...this was the best video you have ever made. It is perfection in it's balance of humour and inspiration and I will be showing it to my grade 12 high school students for years to come.

Totally remember when you subbed for John on paternity leave years ago. So cool to see how far you've come since then! And yes, stress definitely can be paired with joy, as we've found with our Nerdfighter storytelling project. Would love to have you contribute your story, Sabrina! 😊

Can we please have her on a Dear Hank and John? That would be great!

I agree yet I have a warning. Challenging yourself and the good stress that comes from it is still stress. I had a job I loved for 20 years and I felt that I was at my best when my feet were on fire. So I was stressed but it was a good stress. Then, at the age of 42 I had my first heart attack. Then I learn that the body views stress, good or bad, as stress. While I was "happy" with good stress, I was was burning my body out. Everything in moderation.

The thing I love most about this video is not just that it is both #relateable and optimistic, but that, as a Hank replacement at this point in time, this is probably how Hank is feeling right now too! He has a new baby, which is a lot to handle, but feeling new and exciting joys that are as unexpected as they are wonderful.
I'm also glad I'm not the only one who periodically thinks "I haven't had a moment to myself in a week, I'm drowning in work, I could fall into panic at any time... Why Am I So Deliriously Happy" and then accepts it.

I am older than this person, but I want to be her when I grow up.

I needed this. I keep on thinking that I must be stress-free in order to be happy, but that's obviously not the case. I hope you have a great day, Sabrina!

this puts a very positive perspective on stress, thank you. College has been stressful for me this semester and the only time I find real joy is stressfully editing photos into something I'm proud of. not for my photo class, but for my personal love of the work

I failed my college's pre-calculus test to sort where people start their math courses. I failed it bad. But I said "No, I want calculus", and wow, was that an uphill struggle...I had no idea what trig identities were. I came from a school with 60 kids, K-12, and I was there to become a Mechanical Engineer. And now? I'm working for Boeing. Persistence and optimism.

Awesome vlog.

nostalgia is hitting me like a baseball bat to the gut because the vlogbrothers introduced me to the amazing person that is sabrina back during john's paternity leave. now here we are, and sabrina is covering for hank's paternity leave (with a video that accuratley describes my senior year, may i add) and I AM SOBBING AT HOW FAR YOU'VE COME, SABRINA.
