Any tips for getting the MasonGenie off the jar after it finishes sealing? I'm finding that the lid is vacuum sealed to the jar, but the MasonGenie is also vacuum sealed to the jar. Is there a way to easily break the seal between the jar and MasonGenie so that it's easier to take off?

this was great, I wish the company would have included some instructions. But I just would like if you did fruit or vegetables and how that works. wash or don't wash?

Can I use a clean pickle jar if the lids are the correct size or does it have to be mason jars

I bought a bag of baking powder and am hoping that by sealing it in a jar, it will last longer. But I have tried sealing it 3 different times and within hours the lid is loose. I put a cupcake liner over the top of the powder....also made sure the lip of the jar was clean. What am I doing wrong?

The lid comes off with the mason genie after it is finished "sealing." I have to use the mason genie 5-6 times to get the lid to seal. The other times, the lid comes off with the mason genie.Very frustrating.
