Our Wedding Day At Sea 💍 Brogan & Benji Lever ❤️

On the 24th of February 2024, we had a legal ceremony at sea onboard P&O Cruises ship, Arcadia. Exactly 7 years to the day we met, off the coast of Australia, just the two of us.

The day was perfect, so much better than we could have imagined. We both always said we wanted a relaxed and memorable day, and we certainly got that. It was everything and more and we’ll remember it forever. We want to thank all the teams at home and onboard P&O Cruises for making it so special for us.

We started the day with a dip in the hot tub, then a beautiful champagne breakfast spread watching Crazy Rich Asians, opening all our cards. I had my hair done onboard, did my makeup myself, and we got ready in the cabin with a bottle of Möet and our Wedding Playlist blasting our favourite special songs.

I have a separate video coming all about my dress, but I felt so beautiful and loved it so much. Benji looked so handsome too, especially wearing a wedding ring (eeekk!)

Captain Matt Nicholls conducted the ceremony, we met him a few times before the day itself and he took extra care to make it memorable. We both sobbed during the ceremony and said beautiful, personal vows to each other. We had 'Happily Ever After' and 'Ready For The Ride' playing whilst we signed the certificate, a little Disney nod. We had special Crew members who helped organise everything and be our witnesses, my bouquet was made by the florist and our cake was also done onboard by a very talented chef who got it just right.

Our photographer, Charlotte Chambers, captured everything beautifully, and we genuinely had so much fun with her. She became so much more than our photographer and made sure we had everything. Thank you, Charlotte.

After the photos, we had a beautiful meal in the main dining restaurant, where the whole room stood up and clapped as we walked to our table. We enjoyed a bottle of our favourite rosé and had a beautiful meal with our cake for dessert. We finished the evening with our first dance to 'Can’t Help Falling In Love With You’ (Boyce Avenue cover) back in the ceremony room, with no shoes on and no one around. It was perfect.

I’ve just watched your wedding for the 3rd time. My beautiful daughter has just booked her wedding today. So April 2027, so excited for them. So much planning to do but it’s going to be a journey for all of us. I eloped when I married my kids dad, my daughter was our honeymoon baby. It was the right thing at the time. Obviously now I’m divorced if I ever got married again would I elope, probably not but as you have said in previous posts it’s what is right for yourself and because of all your blogs I was able to support my daughter with whatever her decision was to be!!!
