Fun fact about Arch: There is something like group of Russian (ex-USSR?) Linux users, who don't know English, and actually, often not that advanced users, who actually use Arch. Once I wrote that you need to know English to use Linux, but someone wrote me that you don't really need to know English for that. ^_^
They've made quite clear instructions on installing it. So it's quite easy. And that's why I find em. Some Arch conversations funny. If we was talking about Gentoo, or some Slackware, it's a different story.

Regarding Arch install it's more cumbersome than anything else, speaking honestly. As everything Arch it IS very very manual but if you have access to a second pc to check the wiki, they do have a step by step very hand-holdy page walking you through it and at that point really the only finicky things are:
- fdisk is a bit weird if you're not used to it and partitioning in general is something a lot of people are not super familiar with
- GRUB can have a couple pitfalls to install depending on what you're doing


But other than that, yeah: easy but cumbersome is how I'd go. Prolly best install experience in Linux is still OpenSUSE tbh
