Its not exactly simple (but you can do it if you can dig in and rice like that) but you can find out how to pass your GPU into a kvm/qemu virtual machine so you dont have to run windows on hardware. Nice rice btw

i use slackware btw
my linux evolution:
mint -> ubuntu -> kali -> manjaro -> arch -> gentoo -> fedora -> opensuse -> nix -> debian -> slackware

How were you introduced to Linux? Someone in the immediate family? You sound really young and idk why but it makes me really happy that young people are using Linux now. I started my Linux journey only after I got into uni but I do wish someone would have shown it to me earlier.

Everytime I’m in this phase where I think about trying linux as a daily I watch videos like this and I’m instantly reminded why I don’t use it. Because god damn that’s a lot of stuff I absolutely don’t want to deal with.

Maybe videos like this lead to Linux getting more attention and devs actually trying to provide a UX comparable to windows and getting even regular people who don’t know what a terminal is to try the switch
