I use Self-Unalive Linux btw (it resolves all “command not found” errors to “sudo rm -rf /*” (the “brick computer” command)

I jumped right to Gentoo for my first 64 bit PC, still using it for my main PC, but I now prefer to set up developer machines with Arch since it's easier to manage.

Honestly, I use Mint as my daily driver because of how stable it is, and it checks all the boxes for my needs.
Although after a fresh install, I do remove/replace a lot that comes pre-installed.

bought into the arch hype back in the day. used it with AWESOME....i wanted to rip my hair out after 1 day. went back to kubuntu

I think I have used all those distros (including LFS) in that beard list. I see Arch as that happy middle ground between insanity and development use. Sometimes, you just want to get stuff done, so distro's like Ubuntu can be more productive for the average person.
