its a rosette torch, good for melting stuff or pre-heating things before welding. also stress relieving/heat treating metals after.

@CaseyRedDragon these were flood damaged drives, or simply too small (10 - 20gb)

I reuse use 40's and up if I can.

@a380rockerfan I found it inside a disused lead smelting apparatus (big steel box with a gate valve on it to dispense molten lead)

cost was nothing, the scrap yard looks after me :D

@hameeds01 if they were in short supply I may have kept the magnets out of them, but I have dozens already, don't need more

@motorhead45102 lol yer, not everyone starts out with a HD camera. I did most of my videos on a old SD cam.

I'm guessing the potato bit is a Portal reference :D

@BlueFoxTV is there a shortage?, these drives were water damaged/too small, and I would have over 60 old drives if I were to collect them all together in one spot.

@Cwafter lol, bears are cool, we don't have them in Australia, just all the other deadly critters you could want :p

That was very satisfying to watch. Good payback for all the shit that mechanical hard drives have given me over the years... Good on you sir!
