Low carb equals:

- Appetite suppression
- The ability to eat less often
- Less calories consumed
- Less glucose spikes
- Recovery of your pancreas
- Reduction in your A1c
- Culminating in BEATING DIABETES

I went from 336lb to 235lb between 30 April 22 and 14 Feb 23

I had all 5 markers of Metabolic Syndrome and an A1c of 14.9

I went keto first for 6 months. Removed ALL processed food and ate OMAD mostly.

Then switched to carnivore 90 days ago.

I took no medicine and never took a glucose reading. I do coffee every morning but without the added fat (I don't like it). Now completely healthy. ALL markers in the 'no added risk' range and my Doctor only wants a check up in 12 months.

I focussed on INSULIN reduction and improving insulin resistance.

Good morning Dennis, I enjoy your videos and thanks to God, keto, intermittent fasting and exercise I have been insulin free for 2 years since April 2021. I am type 2, and a cannabis addict and alcoholic who has been delivered from many afflictions by our LORD through belief in His only begotten Son. Praying for you and those whom you minister to through your youtube channel.🙏❤👆✝️

I just tried butter in my coffee for the first time. I was skeptical at first because the concoction sounds quite strange lol but I love it! Makes me not want any type of sweetener. Thanks Dennis! The Lord uses you so much!

Went to 2 meals a day for a few months now. Lunch between 12-1:00 PM dinner no later than 6:00 PM. Cut all snacks and a serious reduction in sugars and cabs. Was pre- diabetic but now heading towards very normal ranges of glucose levels. Its only common sense - Stability of glucose levels and counter measures applied to reduce the variation. It has also improved my blood pressure stability substantially.

About 1.5 years ago I was pre diabetic. I found your channel and started doing different things you suggested. At first it was like a roller-coaster with the glucose readings. Some days better than others. I kept doing it. As of 2022 I am no longer pre diabetic. I lost 50lbs, and my BMI is in the perfect range. I still continue to take glucose readings and stay on the same diet. My fasting glucose range is 72-95. Most days in the lower 80's. I did read that stress and lack of water will also increase your glucose levels. But I think it is also better to not stress too much about daily glucose readings.... like if you have a higher day than yesterday, etc. Most meters have a 3-month average on them. If one day is higher, I look at that to calm myself down...lol .

If you want to crush diabetes do weight training …. Resistance training is the key as we age we lose muscle which sucks in the glucose and takes it out of our bloodstream! Don’t stay weak do resistance training with bands or weights your never too old and it’s critical for Health & Longevity!

Thank you Dennis for a simple yet effective tool to beat diabetes. I’ve watched hundreds of videos on the keto way of eating. Most are hocking some additional pills and potions (from sponsors) in addition to eating low carb but not Dennis, and that is why I value your advice. You’ve put this way of eating to the test (literally) with no pills, potions, or gimmicks. God bless you Dennis as you continue in your ministry in winning souls to Christ and on this channel teaching people how to heal their bodies. I pray for continued health and longevity for both you and your wife.

Every single video I watch of yours improves my health. This visual of blood spikes from meals right there on paper was beyond helpful..thank you!

I do agree with your assessment of this. If a person is fat adapted then drinking/eating some fat will provide energy and satiety. If a person is not fat adapted and is eating some carbs it will also provide some energy and satiety…. The major difference is that for most carb burners the energy and satiety are short lived and put you on the roller coaster of glucose highs and lows for the day….It is truly a blessing to be free of this… Low carb for the win!!

My A1C was 6 so I was flagged for prediabetes. Lost weight lowered carbs to almost nothing, exercise etc. Stayed around 5.9 no matter what. Went with fasting and two meals no coffee (suck it up if that's what it takes) . I've done 24 hour fasts 5 or 6 times and a 36 hour fast once and A1C is 5:8 . You do what you need to do.

Instant coffee contains about 0.5 grams carbs per cup, whereas real brewed coffee has none! The day I found this out I abandoned instant coffee forever. I am trying to keep to 20 total (or 10 net) gc daily, so I can't afford to squander even 0.5g. The downside is that making real coffee plus washing my cafetiere after takes extra time and effort. The plus is being able to experiment with different beans and degrees of roast and find the most delicious (to me). I choose different strengths for different times of day and even different moods. I find I can definitely taste the difference even with 1T double / heavy cream. I consider my 1 or 2 cups of real coffee the best treat of the day - and as I know you will agree, Dennis, we all need treats.
