Based on Anne Rice’s 1976 novel, the story is a blend of ambition and calamity, following a love story that once seemed promising but feels doomed from the start. With its fresh, modern retelling transporting audiences to Dubai 2022 and switching between the present and various historical periods, the show has gained a following for its innovative approach while staying true to the core of the original story.

With Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire still fresh in fans’ minds, Perri Nemiroff chatted with the series showrunner and executive producer Rolin Jones and stars Sam Reid, Delainey Hayles, and Assad Zaman at the Collider interview studio at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.

I wish Perri could interview this cast for HOURS because it makes SUCH a difference when the interviewer is this invested and genuinely interested in the responses to their intelligent questions! I loved last year's "who would be most likely to" game, and only wish there had been time to do something similar this time around, but this is still a gem! Honestly one of the best interviews with them from this last weekend. Thank you for asking them such interesting and thought provoking questions even they were impressed by. I also love how you asked them about specific fan responses that meant something to them and for it to sink in with them how special their work is. Like, that's something I don't think is conveyed to actors a lot.

Thank you for this interview. I feel like you’re one of the few interviewers that actually asked each member questions instead of only asking Sam, especially involving season two it was mostly about Claudia and Armand and Louis Sam played a very small role until the end of the season and yet I’ve seen most interviews make the entire season about him.
I love him to pieces. I just wish that the other cast members were able to get credit and I feel like you gave credit to them.
