That little exchange where they talk over each other while playing chess was one of my favorite parts. It really highlighted their development. The disdain and contempt they both had. Louis tried to ignore and pacify the tension, but she pulled and played on them however she liked.

I genuinely LOVE him as Lestat, he did a phenomenal job, in my opinion. Very well cast as Lestat, he really embodies him so well. Characters like those in Vampire Chronicles series are big shoes to fill, yet he does it SO WELL.
