So from personal experience I can say that over clocking anything isn’t necessarily safe, but to get a good overclock for any monitor or display you have to lower your resolution from its default marketed resolution to hz display. Example: I have a legion 5 with a Gtx 1660ti 144hz 1080 display by default, i tried overclocking it on it’s default and my screen blacked out, I had to change it to 720 and I eventually went from 144 to 240 cause of resolution to hz display capability.

On my 165 hz monitor I could overclock 5 and on my 60 hz I could oberclock 16
