Thnx for the insight... Another way to put it Tim, in my opinion, is that for an upward sloping yield curve the long term interest rates are considered to be higher than short term interest rates and vice versa for an inverted yield curve.... hence all about market expectation of short term interest rates that are extrapolated to arrive at the projected long term interest rates.
