This isn’t exclusive to PF. All big chains follow this policy. Unfortunately, regardless of opinion it’s a human rights violation. Regardless of the stance the owners may have, they legally cannot bar individuals from change rooms they feels most comfortable in

I canceled my membership, after a homeless guy near the entrance asked me if I could scan. Him into the gym, using my membership I said no. So I go to the bathroom, I then proceed to the treadmill. Much to my surprise, the same homeless man is in the gym. He gets on the treadmill right next to me. When I asked the front desk clerk if they just allow homeless people in. The guy says yes, because they aren’t hurting anyone. I replied, so Idont need to pay for my membership. I can just walk in while someone else scans themselves in. Crazy why pay for the membership?

Yes ! I quit planet fitness and now go to golds down the street . More expensive but it doesn’t have the bs that planet fitness has . I hope they end up closing locations cause of this non sense !

I used to go to that planet fitness!!! It’s in Fairbanks. I don’t know what the deal is with Planet Fitness in Alaska, but they had a similar incident in Anchorage a few years ago

It’s sad that even in the fitness community (A community that promotes health & wellness) there is this level of discrimination. First off, there should not be picture taking/ video recording in the restrooms secondly, kids should not be allowed in the gym unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Planet Fitness has been going downhill for some time now, I have no idea what the answer is to fix this but it’s not discrimination. Lastly parents please start talking to your kids at an early age about how “different” we all are. I think where we go wrong as a society is when we start walking around this planet expecting everyone else to be just like “us” when the reality is we are all different and unique & deserve love and acceptance regardless. This channel literally taught me nothing other than the fact that an un natty body can lead to an un natty personality.
