i have been looking and with income restrictions they place on what you are allowed to rent i'd be forced to live in a hovel. in my country you can rent whatever you want if you can pay the money. it's not abnormal to pay 2/3's or 3/4's of your income on rent but at least you have the same shot as everyone else on the same properties. i find that really hard that 'you' decide what i can afford.

Thank you for posting. I agree. I've been trying to find an apartment and it's been hard finding something that I can afford w/o having a roommate or working myself to death.

This is concerning- we’re trying to get out of California because the so-cal affordable housing that they had to ask for pardons for (over just how small they are and how little storage they provide, ) isn’t affordable at all!

Long story short: They lied to us so that investors from New York could buy up the land, build sardine-homes, and charge the same if not MORE than the homes 5x larger just down the street.

Faith in my future- lost.
