Here is my ten dollar styrofoam cooler air conditioner. It's cheap to make & fairly effective for a small room like mine. I've noticed that so far there is overall room temperature difference of around 5 or 6 degrees, which is not bad considering what the amateur device consists of. If you keep it near you with another small fan it does create a lovely personal zone of cool air.

Two pipes would work better, you want the intake and exhaust equivalent
What type of measurement are you getting on the exhaust side? One key element of A/C is dehumidifier which is hard to achieve without an evaporator unit.

When using this. How long were you able to run this before you noticed you had to add more? Also, Have you tried Ice and if so, Did it work any better?

Flaw #1 no heat absorption. You need a liquid line to pump cold water in a coper coil around a fan if you want a difference in the air temp.

6 degrees?...Sure that is a "bit" cooler but is it really worth it with this contraction?
