Charlie Munger was one of the world's most respected value investors, but more than that, he was one of the world's greatest minds. From Warren Buffett's trusty sidekick as vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, to early real estate developer, to chairman of the Daily Journal corporation or even budding architect for UC Santa Barbara, Charlie led a curious life, full of learning and exploration. Munger is the kinda of guy you wish was your neighbor. No matter how rich he got, he still shared his knowledge for the common man and in a way that was easy to understand. RIP Charlie Munger and thank you!

An end of an era. Characters like Buffet and Munger come from tough times and unique circumstances. You won't see upstanding guys like them again for a long time.

Never thought I'd get choked up over a man I've never known, but Charlie was clearly such a genuinely kind-hearted soul. It's hard not to when you see the beauty he's shared with this world. He is, and always will be, the Angel over Warren's shoulder. May he now actually get to rest in peace😎🤙💯🧡

Brandon and members of this channel, if you're ever in LA, may I recommend a trip to one of Charlie's favorite places, the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena. There is also a research library and small art museum; rich people donating paintings - might be a bit of a tax dodge club. But, ultimately, because Charlie and other local rich people supported it so much, the gardens are just incredibly beautiful, they do public admission for like $20. If you want to imagine the sort of rose garden a billionaire would like to be pushed through on a wheelchair, it's like that and more.
