☆Who is Charlie Munger?☆
Charlie Munger is vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway and the closest partner of Warren Buffett. He is one of the best investors ever existed with his profound wisdom in investing, business and life. Prior joining Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway, Charlie Munger ran an investment partnership that returned an average of 20% per year from 1962 to 1975. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 averaged an annual return of just 5% in that time.

It seems to me that, in a market that does not perform very well, focusing on cashflow from investments is a good idea. That way, even if the market is stagnate, your income is increasing as you reinvest your shares.

I do miss Charlie (even though I didn't know him personally). When I found out he passed, I one of the strongest reactions I've ever had to a celebrity death. I'm glad that he has left behind a treasure trove of knowledge-building material.

Not sure I understand why you would invest in VFV when in reality it's just VOO wrapped up. So not only are you paying the VOO management fee but now you're paying VFV's as on top of it (Hence why it's a higher fee for VFV). Just convert your money via Norbert Gambit's to avoid institution fees and you will save money.
