The reason why traders look at charts, is because often stock prices are disconnected from the business. Cocacola is trading at a PE (price to earnings) in the 20's, where NVIDIA is trading in the 90's. Charts show the sentiment of the buyers and sellers and that is what ultimately decides the stock price. You can invest in the most rock solid company in the world, but if there is no buying interest, the stock won't go up much. On the flipside, an overhyped company like Tesla could make you much more. Hype can been seen on the charts. That is why many profitable traders care more about the price action seen on the charts than company financials

Good video. Over the past few decades, there were two financial movements that were popular but seemingly faded: daytrading and FIRE. Do you have any insights on their rise and fall? Would you label them fads? Are there additional fads that I left out? Is there enough substance to do a video discussing them?

I have a shelf full of Buffett and Munger books, the only problem i think is once you have read them you then have a lot of the knowledge to tackle investing and indeed life, but(youtube is(entertainment, its business model imo), and popular trending youtubers say whatever, telling viewers this what you need to do and that then causes problems, as many younger dumber viewers think you need numerous but similar opinions, ( which many opinions are wrong) but all you need is a few Buffett and Munger books and you have 99% of the knowledge already, and that would be boring to many folk.

Researches have been conducted by academics to understand Warren Buffet success. It is publicly available to everyone but mainstream medias never talk about it. There is no such thing as secret but it is all about knowledge and some good fortune too.

Charts don't work lol! At least in the Philippines in POV. There groups of people w/ alot of money congregate in big groups and do things on sync. So basically these big groups can decide what happens to the stocks. SO if u are looking at charts u can easily be deceived!
