I have definitely been drawn to pre- patriarchal Indian ("hindu" ) Goddesses ( such as Mahavideyas, Apsaras, etc..)
so much of our herstory has been altered and certain Goddesses such as 'Shiva" referred to as male....
however I am keeping in mind that I Am All Goddesses in One, as each represents aspects of Self as a Femi9- Aether Being.
Rediscovering my Amazonian Indian Heritage is quite fascinating..

Maybe she says “goddess of yoga” because Shree Adi parashakti manifested Shiva and he brought yoga .. thus Adiyoga .. ? It’s possible as Shree Adi Parashakti is beyond the “religion “ .. anyway just a thought I loved your video, I’m going to DL the book I’d seen it advertised on audible xox

I took so much out of this video! I have recently found a couple of my Ishta Devatas (Bast & Kali) and am very interested in getting this book to dive deeper into the Hindu side of things. But what was really special was when you started talking about Jamaica and having Indigenous and potentially Indian genetic ties...My moms side of the family is from Jamaica as well and there has been very clear to be the preference for Eastern thought and spiritual practice. I recently connected to the Goddess and trying to put the puzzle pieces together, Hinduism being one, Ancient Egypt being another and Jamaica being a third component to it as well.
