You did not put the correct location for the Richat Structure in Mauritania, Africa.

The area has been cked for organic matter. The gases from the survey indicate a possible civilisation may have been there. How ever the government at the time it was being surveyed would not allow excavation of the site. Several artifacts were found to indicate it's antiquity. Sadly someone in the government has not been bribed. It would be interesting to dig there and find out disspell the myth.??

It would be amazing to be able to travel through time and see what the world was like thousands of years ago - even JUST a few thousand years could be such a drastic difference - especially in places like the middle east / africa, where we know for sure, that they were lush rainforest and such. Sometimes I wonder if it takes huge disasters to "mix" our climate for a few thousand more years - and things slowly desertify. It's freaky to think about - at least, for beings limited to the surface of this planet it's pretty freaky... but there does seem to be evidence pointing in that direction at least.

I mean, even if there weren't details that lined up, there have always been the stories passed down, whether we believed them or not - it's hella interesting...

...and the Richat structure / Eye of the Sahara and the area around it also match what the area around Atlantis was supposed to have been like - the gelogical features are there, at least - I mean, aside from the obvious ringed structure. It was on the shores of such a massive river we have nothing that comes close today, including the Amazon. If it WAS Atlantis so long ago, and the Sahara WAS green and lush (and we know it was, they've mapped ancient riverbeds more enormous than anything that exists on earth today, going east / west across the continent - that much we CAN verify with current technology... There are also signs of civilization that algorithms detect all over the place, especially following the ancient riverbeds... places where we have not excavated due to location and ... the sheer number of sites under the sand. MORE than enough room for 3 or 4 Atlantises, if you ask me ;)

If I recall, the CIA also had some sort of interest and operation at the Richat structure for a few years, if I'm not mistaken... in the 60's? I know they concluded essentially there was nothing of "note" - but when that kind of thing comes from an alphabet agency it's pretty much impossible to take it at face value regardless of the likelihood - at the very least they had an interest in it, for more than just it's geology.

Anyway, if those stories of Atlantis and it's end are true, maybe it was the flood / sea that sank it, that is also responsible for reducing it to a sandy desert after just a few thousand years? Interesting stuff to think about, I sure wish there would ever be a way to know for sure, but short finding some hidden vault of knowledge I don't think we're going to be able to verify jack from that long ago. It's really too bad - if there was one thing I wish I could see before I die, it's the past... just because. They find out crazy stuff all the time, and I think the times we live in right now are MORE than crazy enough to consider just about anything.

It's seriously torture to me to know I'll never know, haha! ...😢damn.
