Imagine when someone finds Manila, Mexico City and New Orleans under water in 2000 years. Imagine how many cities from 5000 years ago are already under water in the Philippines.

Interesting video, though the title is a bit misleading. None of these city ruins have been found in the actual deep sea. If they had, we wouldn't be seeing people diving there. So top 10 Ancient Sunken Cities Discovered in the Sea would be more accurate.

The only ancient city I heard of was Thonis. The only other ones I've heard of were ones we already know a lot about like Atlantis and Pompeii.

My submechanophobia makes this uncomfortable, but my love of history and lost civilizations pushes me to watch.

I don't understand why they keep on saying that it was earth tremors that sunk these cities...the glaciers have been melting for a long time, since the last ice age in fact...

Helike maybe should have deserved a mention, it was a huge tourist attraction in antiquity, it was gradually covered by sediments so it's not submerged anymore but still.

That last one is mad silly. They found “a number of tools” at the site and they’re still questioning whether it was man made? 😂😂
