Just want to add, Im from Finland and I love military marches... I played a tuba in an orchestra and I´ve played all of these marches my self and loved them... Thats why I had the courage to recommend these pieces to you...

That song never, ever fails to bring tears to my eyes. I was a Wave in the U.S. Navy from 1971-1973. I want them to play Anchors Aweigh at my funeral, whenever that might be. I want to go out to the sounds of some of the proudest moments of my life!!

This is NOT "the" Navy band, it is "a" Navy band. U.S. military branches have multiple bands. This is undoubtedly, a "regional" band (stationed at a base in the region). IF this was the ONLY band, it would NOT travel thousands of miles to march in a parade with NO spectators. Sad turnout!!

I am currently a Petty Officer 3rd Class in the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, but as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy, I am waiting for the day when I can fight for the United States, which created Japan after the war, while working hard to speak English and acquire a green card!

My dad was in the Navy. 1945 Okinawa. Lion 8. He died 8 years ago. Still miss him. Anchors Aweigh.
