If you are going to copy that credit card, it just as important to remember to copy the pin number on the back of the card since with each transaction you will need this. I suggest keeping this pin number written in another spot, just because if you might lose this sheet of paper with the credit card info. Also, be aware when purchasing items in port with a credit card, since that sales clerk can and will steal your information (this happened to us in February 2020). The clerk was asking way too much information when purchasing an item in port. We asked why she was asking for so much info on a simple item (Pandora charm) and we thought she had a fairly good answer. Obviously, she had other reasons in mind. After checking our credit card statements (which you should always monitor) we found our card that we used in a certain port was buying things like train tickets in Germany and linked it back to that port of call. We only bring with us two credit cards when we travel (sometimes three). Therefore, keeping your receipts from each port in an orderly fashion is helpful. Needless to say, if anyone asks you extra information and you think it is out of line with a general purchase ask for others to get involved, like a manager. If you still have a gut feeling something is not right, walk away; I wish we did! Don't forget to notify your bank you are taking this credit card(s) with you on a vacation and where you are going.

I love Nassau! The first time I went I took an excursion and it was interesting. All times after that I just walked. My favorite stop is the Rum Cake factory and next door is Rachel's Take Away. The food is awesome. I spent about 3hrs talking to the locals and loving the food

Wow! Thanks for the info! We usually book our own excursions and I like to plan to be back on the ship 2 hours early. We were on a bus one time that broke down. Made it back in the nick of time!

Probably one of our biggest concerns. Not only does the ship daily schedule of activities have the depart time usually there is a marque as you exit the ship with an onboard time for crew and passengers. Thanks for sharing!

I hope I am never late getting back from a visit to a port. Having said that it’s always good to know what to do during an emergency. Thanks for sharing the process the Cruise Ship uses to determine if a guest/s have not yet boarded the ship after a port visit. I would not have assumed that the Port Agent would have my passport, which is a relief to know I have my credentials. Thanks for creating this excellent video Sharon. I found the information to be very helpful and interesting. Good job!...Ed....PS: I hadn’t thought of wearing a watch. I assume that I Phones may not always have the correct local time. Good tip!

Great video! This is why everyone who travels outside of the US, even to just the Caribbean or the Bahamas, needs to have a passport. If you get left behind and you don't have a passport, only the birth certificate and photo ID that the ship requires to go on the cruise, then that's a whole other problem. If you don't have a passport to begin with, you just can't make a reservation on a plane to catch up with this ship or to fly home. The state department has to get involved at that point.
