G'day Aaron, pretty good multiuse item I'd say, very light and cant get much more compact than that. Dont even think about a plastic knife of any description. Man, I refuse to offer those even at a low key BBQ. dont start me on paper plates ; )
Moving on ; ) always good to have a backup ferro rod and a long handled spork for those dehydrated/freeze dried meals is an absolute must IMO, its either that or cut down the bag. In any case, you cant cut down a tall mug or pot.

Incidentally, I've been using an Opinel No. 10 as a steak/meat knife, sure it aint serrated, but if kept "sharp", doesn't matter, (I'd argue even better), and does a shipload of other LD things for you also, like make a spoon, fork or spatula for example ; ). Yes that all takes time, though if you're into "crafting bushes", nice thing to do by the campfire, (perhaps waiting for a meal to cook) and of course you dictate the form factor.
Ok, you don't get the ferro rod, but you do get a very good spine as a scraper ; )
Very light weight too and I think I paid under 30 knicker AUD, (around 20 odd USD max), for it from memory and for us L-to XL hands dudes, stepping up to a No, 10 makes all the difference IMO. I gave away the 8 & 9 ; )
As predominately a hard blade user.... never thought I'd be spruiking the benefits of an Opinel ; )
Anyway, take it or leave it, just thought I'd chuck in some extra ideas to achieve much the same goal.
Cheers Duke.

Love the spork my guy, but lets do a review on that dry ass chicken. Looks like a rope cutting test, haha. I kid.

Side topic, what are your favorite freeze dried meals? Best brand? Thanks and good little video.

I am personally not a fan of serrated steak knives. I prefer straight edge if they made this that way it would be the best for me.

I have a few of these. Underestimate the knife at your peril.

Totally cool product. I don't know how you keep finding this stuff. I'll have to order some for gifts. Not a fan of serrated knives for my own use. Is there enough steel in the knife to grind away the serrations and give it an edge?

I managed to find online (Chinese of course) 100% accurate repro of WW2 US kfs in titanium that spoon is an eating shovel and weighs almost nothing

amazing, also can you Please review the 5 In 1 Stainless Combo Spoon, Fork, Knife, Bottle Opener and Can Opener, for less than 10 dollars?

Why would they not make the back of the spine of the knife 90 degrees?🤦‍♂️

Don't need a long utensil when you can rehydrate your meal and then use your SAK scissors and cut the excess of the bag off the top.
