Why the hell did it malfunction?

So I'm carving up a chicken for dinner, minding my own business. Suddenly my husband storms in in a jealous rage. "You been screwin' the milkman, " he says. He was crazy about it, and he kept on screaming, "you been screwin' the milkman." And then he ran into my knife. He ran into my knife ten times.

Girl I used to know was in college at the time. Spent her summer living with some friends in another state. They sublet an apartment. She bragged to me about how they were trashing the place and would face no consequences because by law they were not responsible, the actual renters were, and they were assholes anyway so they deserved it. I tried to talk her out of this but she didn't give a damn what I had to say. Well, while she was out of state she and her roommate were also subletting THEIR apartment back at college. When they returned their apartment was so trashed they couldn't even move back in until massive repairs had been completed, and found themselves temporarily homeless.

Some guy on a motorcycle went speeding past my family on a highway (well above the speed limit), weaving in and out of traffic. We saw him about 15 minutes down the road talking to police, who had pulled him over since the area was covered in speed traps. All of us laughed and cheered. Glad the guy survived because he had no protective gear on, but we all were half expecting to see a smear on the road a few miles down and were quite amused to see he got pulled over instead

A former friend of mine was cheating on his fiancée for several months until, a few months before the scheduled wedding, he leaves his loving fiancée to be with his sidepiece. Turns out his sidepiece was even worse, and cheated on him with multiple men. In the words of the Joker: "You get what you f**kin deserve!"

That zero tolerance policy story really pisses me off. These schools are supposed to prepare kids for the adult world, but they don’t employ the same level of judgment or deliberation them selves, and punish innocent people as a result.

I really hope that the parents got an attorney and sued the school. I’m a lawyer myself, I would’ve sued.

Disclaimer, this gets a bit dark. So when I was seventeen I went to a conference for work. I knew a guy who was in his forties who worked at another company which was also a vendor at said conference. We hung out for dinner. Then he offered to walk me back to my hotel room. Okay, fair enough, this hotel's massive. Nice dude. Then things get bad. I was very naive and I let him into my hotel room, whereupon he turned and closed the door with his back to said closed door. Then he said something like, "I wish I wasn't married because I'd love to have sex with you." To a minor. I was dumbstruck until he hugged me and started groping. I'd been training in martial arts for a while by then, and everything just clicked. I don't remember much after that but the next thing I do remember is walking him backward out the hotel room with his fingers and wrist bent backward. I told him that if he ever tried to lay a hand on me I'd make sure he was dead or wishing he was dead in a very calm voice. What really made this the "he had it coming" story though, is that the next day I was stupid enough to go to a reception party this dude's company was holding. I figured nobody would notice me since there would be a lot of people there. I was dead wrong. He noticed and tried to grab my arm. Please note, nobody from either my company or his knew about what happened and I'd meant to keep it that way since I thought the situation had been resolved. So my manager walks in to see me slamming a fist into this guy's metacarpals so hard they instantly start to bruise. So the whole story came out after that. He didn't deny it, but the really damning evidence was (and I don't remember this part because I was probably still in shock) I told HIS boss something like, "Well I didn't want to drag his screaming body downstairs for security. He grabbed my butt and said that he wanted to have sex. I didn't break him on either incident because I figured he still had stuff to do at this conference." So yeah, considering that he solicited a minor this guy definitely had worse coming.

I had been passed by an impatient driver on my way to work one morning and found out they were going the same route I was towards my work. Before I turned into the parking lot, I watched as she passed another driver by going into oncoming traffic and was lit up by a police car sitting nearby.
