I don't know how anyone can give a thumbs down to Boyce's cover songs. He's gifted at playing the piano and guitar and has a great voice. What's not to like? If people are comparing him to the original artist then they're doing this guy a disservice.

Whats funny is he never does any original (atleast thats what i know so far) just album covers... But every songs he sings looks and feels like his own. Thank you for sharing this beautiful gift to all of us.

Yes. This is the way to cover "My Song". You sing it with the right level of humility and vulnerability. Hardly anyone else gets that when they cover this tune. Even Elton lost that after fame and fortune took away his humility and vulnerability.
