What an incredible performance!!!* ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The sound of your voice is so alluring with that luscious smooth texture in your vocals; that one becomes almost spellbound as we listen to you sing! How exciting it was to see one of my song suggestions being performed! A big thank you! We fall in love with this performance within 30 seconds of the song!!! There is magic in your voice! 💗 What a treat to hear you sing Elton's classic song! 😊

There's excellent visual presentation with that striking violet blue dress, as you perform this great song! 👩‍ The stereo recording of the grand piano is superb; plus the vocals have been recorded perfectly! 🎤 You play the piano brilliantly throughout! 🎹

After we hear the elegant piano opening to the song, we hear your gorgeous vocals come into play. Emily you're unbelievable! Your golden vocals and the velvet sound you generate is so prevalent in your voice! We hear a sample of it at 0:19, ♫ "easily hide"♪, with nice control of a sliding melody in "hi-i-ide". I just love how you quickly glance up at the camera 0:30, as you sing: ♫ "I'd buy a big house"♪. At 0:32, ♫ "Where we both could live"♪, is beautiful sublime vibrato; with a little trill of piano notes making it a pretty touch at 0:36. Please note, we are only half a minute into this song and we are captivated already by your performance! 😃

At 0:38 is a nice video close up of you. At this point visually; we notice the delicate sparkle in the hem of your lovely dress. The video is cropped perfectly as well. It's a nice touch as you look up at the camera at 1:02 with ♫ "This gift is my song"♪, and at 1:05, ♫ "This one's for you"♪. At 1:10 we just lay back and listen to this stunning exhibition of beautiful singing! 😊 Once again there's terrific control of vibrato in the line at 1:20; ♫ "But, now that it's done"♪.

❗️ At 1:24, _I was completely blown away_ being consumed by your dynamics and emotional expression with; ♫ "I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind"♪, then such outstanding singing with 1:28 ♫ "That I put down in words"♪. Emily, you should be commended with the impressive development in your voice! Just listening to the sustained; ♫ "words"♪ (1:29); I could not imagine that sung any better! Perfect control! 👍 It's astonishing how good you sound! ⭐️

Then we hear the classic line in the song 1:33; ♫ How wonderful life is while you're in the world"♪. This is sung so irresistible and sensational. I cannot refrain but give such continual positive comments throughout this song! There's even another treat, we get to hear, as you perform a nice little piano solo at 1:43. It's also worthy to note the exceptional videoing here and the close-up again of you at 1:50. 🎥

At 1:50, ♫ " I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss"♪; in this whole section up to; ♫ "keep it turned on"♪, 1:19; we hear you retain the wonderful emotion of the melody throughout the verse. You are really delivering a tremendous portrayal of the lyrics in the story of the song. 🎤 There's another nice trill of upper notes at 2:20, on the piano. Nice playing Emily! At 2:26, I like in the line how you hold the word "do": ♫ "But these things I do--you see"♪; by running the words together. It adds a nice flowing melodic touch! 🎼

At 2:36, you get animated with the story-telling of the song with: ♫ " Anyway, the thing is, what I really mean"♪, as you acknowledge the listener by looking at the camera (at us!). Plus again, the theatrical expression at 2:48, ♫ "I've ever seen"♪; is brilliant expressive singing! 👍 Then at 3:07; oh wow!!! ♫ "I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind"♪; is exceptional, with a run of notes up the piano for a perfect touch! 🎹

Then at 3:17 ♫ How wonderful life is while you're in the world"♪; is sung superbly again! 😊 I might delightfully add: _How wonderful YouTube is while you're singing to the world._ (do you like that comment?! 😁). Now at 3:26, you're out doing yourself with such a remarkable performance and emotion with: ♫ "I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind"♪. That second dynamic "I hope you don't mind" and 3:30 ♫ "That I put down in words"♪; is outstanding singing and dynamics again! What a solid performance you are giving us here! 🎤 Finally you finish the song at 3:35 with; ♫ How wonderful life is while you're in the world"♪; with beautiful piano skills at 3:41 to finish off the song and a nice smile at 3:58! Bravo! 😃

The performance you have given here is *overwhelmingly sensational.* The emotional content, plus the control in your vocals is remarkable! The sound of your voice as you sing, is exceedingly phenomenal. Everything about this video is impeccable... the quality of the recording; the mixing; video editing; the presentation and the visuals; are tremendously done! To have the emotional movement of sound (without strings), with just you and the piano is a pure talent to admire! Congratulations big-time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fun fact.
Your Song was originally written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin for and first released by American rock band Three Dog Night on their third studio album,  "It Ain't Easy." Elton was an opening act for the band at the time and allowed them to record it. They did not release it as a single as they wanted to let Elton, an upcoming artist at the time, have a go first.
The rest, as they say, is history.
