I hope more studies are done on the sand spiders venom. When I’ve seen them bite in captivity their prey stops moving almost immediately I’ve never seen anything like that in a spider bite so very curious what they truly possess. All spiders are quite amazing. I’m at you wandering spider now so guessing the sand spiders will be your number 1.

Brazilian here.
I live in a countryside region, and wandering spiders (we call them 'armadeiras') are kinda commonly found inside houses. Most people kill them, but I just capture them and release outside. I never ever got bitten, nor anyone from my family.

I think it's great how much love and respect you show these animals. How nice to see that there is someone like you who shows that every animal, no matter which one, and every creature should be loved and respected. You're doing a wonderful job, absolutely fantastic. keep it up.

I love your passion for these creatures that most don’t understand. I live in Australia & so many people are scared of spiders here, I have not come across a funnel web, I have red backs but have never been bitten. I’m a spider keeper & keep Huntsman’s, wolf spiders & jumping spiders. It’s about being respectful to these creatures 😊

Amazon how much that sand spider favors the brown recluse. My wife was bitten by a brown recluse back in January, and I knew exactly what it was, and we went to the hospital immediately. Even though we got it treated early, the wound got very red and it formed a hole in her leg where the flesh was rotting. Luckily it healed and the flesh grew back. Spiders are nothing to play around with. Cool video man!

I feel like the Chilean recluse is one of the most underrated spiders in the world when it comes to danger towards humans. Those things are no joke.

You didn't pick up the "defensive" funnel web, though, did you? They are aggressive. They don't automatically attack, but they're tetchy little buggers. More prone to being irritable than the Brazilian one it seems.

Thank you for sharing. I used to get creeped out by Spiders and now have 2 tarantulas with 4 more coming next week. They are fascinating.

Thanks to your and Spencer's channels, I no longer kill any spiders I see in my house. And thankfully, all of them are actually quite small. I think my house is home to mostly lynx and cobweb spiders; and, I'm learning to see the inherent beauty of these amazing animals. Thank you, Jack; my own world is more wild and beautiful, thanks to you!
