why in other examples of the man walking away its x+y not x-y

@heyjustthetip Actually he did waste our time trying to solve this problem. At 4:43 he labeled dy/dt is equal to 4ft/s. This is wrong. It is suppose to be dx/dt = 4ft/s since this is the chance in distance along the x-axis. I stopped at this point in the video, but he probably solved it out wrong anyhow...

when he solving for x there is an error taking place -10x=-16y when he solving he do the following x=-16y/-10y insterd of x =-16y/10 which give x=(8/5)y
