What is the y intercept of a Line?
Показать описание
What is the y intercept of a line? The y intercept definition is pretty simple, it is simply where a line intercepts the y axis. That is to say, it is where the y axis and the line intersect, that is the y intercept. If you want to know how to find y intercepts, I have a video on that which I hope you will check out. The x intercept is basically the same as a y intercept, just on the x axis. Ever linear function has exactly one y intercept, and ever y intercept has an x coordinate of 0 by definition (the line x=0 is the y axis, so any point on that line has an x coordinate of 0).
I hope you find this video helpful, and be sure to ask any questions down in the comments!
